Included with each purchase is an interesting fact sheet about the origin of the PL-259, soldering suggestions, Amphenol’s data, & specification sheet with recommended coax stripping dimensions for not only this model connector, but also Amphenol’s other models as well. We want you to have all the necessary information to make precise fitments of your connectors.
Mechanical:
Construction consists of a Nickel Plated Brass Body for durability, and lifetime luster and brilliance, a Silver Plated Brass Tip for ease of soldering & low contact resistance, and a Mica-filled, Phenolic Dielectric known for its permittivity, strength, and higher withstanding voltages over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. Pantone #110-C is the electronic coloring agent used for Amphenol’s proprietary insulator color for this connector model.
Electrical:
50-Ohm impedance, variable, DC to 300-Mhz and commonly used in the 450-512 Mhz range. Conservative Voltage Rating of 500V Peak. Operating temperature range is from
-50C to 149C (-58F to 300F)
